Painting and drawing are visual arts, so I don't have a lot to add in the way of words or        explanations. In my artistic journey I've been asked to put an "artist's statement" together to accompany my work and I have always struggled to articulate why I paint and what my vision might be. It's simple.....I paint and draw because I've been doing so since I was a young lad, and I just kept going. After showing some early promise with crayons and pencil drawings my first paint set came one Christmas when I was 10. I still like to draw with pencil & crayons, but I also like to keep pushing my vision. I remain very committed to the idea that an artist should be wary of getting stuck in a pattern or routine. On this website you will see many styles and directions done with whatever medium I feel is right for the image I'm after. In other words I like to mix it up in order to explore and discover. 

Over the years I have shown in Montreal, Toronto, London, Ottawa and New York. My work is in many private collections in Canada and the U.S.

I am originally from Montreal but currently live in the beautiful Gatineau Hills of Quebec.
